Belzelga (ベルゼルガ) is a DVL-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.
Like his predecessor, Blackram, Belzelga is mainly focused on short range "Destroy" attacks. He uses both his arms to greatly damage an opponent; while his head, Hellmet, can recover one of his parts. Belzelga's specialty is ironically his weakness, as his punches are so powerful, the parts are destroyed after one use.
In the games
In Medarot 4
Belzelga appears as a rampaging Medabot in the game's postgame. The player will fight him a total of 4 times, which are the only oportunities to get his parts. Belzelga is accompanied in the fights by the new DVL Model, Pakat.
2nd encounter happens at the hill in Shinra Village.
3rd encounter happens at the desert above Karasawa Gee Oasis.
4th and last encounter happens at the cave in Umineko Coast.
In Medarot 2 Core
Belzelga will shoot a powerful punch, completely destroying that Medapart that was used. His Head Part can restore lost parts to themesleves or partner(s), but the health will not be completely restored.
In Medarot Brave
Quote: It's nice to be able to fight freely... well, I've got one more time for revival.
In Medarot DS
Belzelga's series number is now DVL01-M. His attacks are changed back to "Berserk" attacks.
In the anime
In the episode 14, Belzelga was the new Medabot of the Medabots Corporation where he defeated their Tankars. His vital status stated that he was owned by a Medabot Corporation member named Ms. Caviare. Seaslug under the alias of Mr. Tunahead hijacked Belzelga and used him to fight Ikki Tenryou, Erika Amazake, and Karin Junmai. Metabee robottled against Belzelga with help from Brass and Neutranurse after he was discovered to not have a Rare Medal. He was defeated when he was knocked off the building.
In episode 25, Peppercat and Sumilidon went up against 3 Belzelga and were critically damaged in nearly an instant; Rokusho stopped the battle. In episode 49, Ms. Caviare, disguised as Space Medafighter, commanded a Belzelga in the World Robattle Cup final between Team Japan and Team Kenya. In a desperate attempt to secure victory, Victor ordered his team to sacrifice Gorriango to take out Belzelga. Going along with the plan, both Medabots were then destroyed by Rhinorush.
