Giggly Jelly, known in Japanese as Pururun Jelly (プルルンゼリー), is a JEL-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot 2.

Description[]

Giggly Jelly is a cross between a jellyfish and a military installation. His head is short and wide like a radome, though he does not possess the "Scan" action. His arms are shaped similarly, but with a number of short "tentacles" around the edge and a single, longer tentacle that acts as an arm. Giggly Jelly's base has four "legs" with large wheels on the end.

Giggly Jelly's role in battle is using straightforward "Missile" attacks. All three of his attacking parts use "Missile" attacks, meaning that no matter what, all of his attacks are sure to hit, as well as cause a Chain Reaction. This is mediated somewhat by the fact that Giggly Jelly's Leg Parts, have very low propulsion. His Right Arm Part, Intermissile, is his fastest, but weakest part. The Left Arm Part, Guidemissile, is stronger, but in-turn slower. The Head Part, Missile Base, is both the strongest and fastest, but only has six uses. All of this makes Giggly Jelly a very real threat if allowed to persist for too long on the battlefield, meaning that he should be directly below the lead Medabot in terms of priority.

In the games[]

Giggly Jelly is a tank-type Medabot specializing in "Missile" attacks. Since all his parts have the "Bomb" attribute, he's most compatible with the Jellyfish Medal.

Medarot 2[]

Pururun Jelly appears as a Medabot who is used in random encounters, and is usually encountered near docks. However in the Kabuto Version, Squidguts uses one and later two alongside his Dashbutton.

Medabots (GBA)[]

As a remake of Medarot 2, Giggly Jelly's appearance in this game is the same as in the original version, but he has different stats.

Medarot R[]

Pururun Jelly is obtainable from Medarot R Parts Collection by fighting Scenario Writer, who is ranked opponent number 79.

Medabots AX[]

Giggly Jelly Medaparts are available in the game.

Medarot S: Unlimited Nova[]

Pururun Jelly is a low rarity Medarot.

In the anime[]

In "The Old Man and the Sea Monster," Giggly Jelly is one of the three Medabots used in Ryan's sea monster plot.
