Summary[]
Suzie wants a henchman who will do whatever she says, so she lures Tak, who is new to Robattles and is worried about becoming stronger, by offering to lend him a Kilobot, making him strong enough to rival Ikki.
Plot[]
Suzie was bored and watched a Robattle between Tak's Komandog and a kid's Hamshin. Nearby, Suzie saw how Spyke and Sloan did everything for Samantha, and she wished to also have someone to do everything for her. She tries to convince Minitora and Kintora, but as they ran away from her, she decided to try convincing Tak.
Later, Tak and Komandog were challenged by a Rogue Medafighter, and his Brownbison defeated Komandog with ease. Suzie appears and tries to convince Tak to help her test a Kilobot, which would give him an edge in Robattles, but Tak refuses. In Nae's shop, Tak is frustrated with how easily he lost, and wonders if the problem is with his Medabot. Ikki says that it is easy to blame the Medabot when feeling down, but Komandog is a good Medabot and they only need to train more. Tak says it is easy for Ikki to say that as he has a strong Medabot, and training is boring, throwing away his Medawatch and running from the shop.
Seeing what happened, Suzie tries to convince Tak again, asking where is his Medabot and saying that no one likes losing, and she convinces Tak to at least try using a Kilobot, saying that she will lend a Kilobot for him. Suzie goes after Minitora and Kintora, tricking Minitora to lend his Kilowatch to her by saying that it has a problem that needs to be fixed, but actually takes it to Tak, saying that he can do whatever he wants with it without worry. With Minitora's Unitrix, Tak manages to win several Robattles without difficulty due to his power and to reloading ammo during matches.
Tak is happy with his winning streak, but when he tries to talk with Unitrix, he remembered that Kilobots lack personality. Ginkai watched Tak's matches and appeared to warn that being a Rogue Medafighter can be quite lonely, but that probably will not matter as long as he keeps winning, right? Tak says that he is right, and now he can win even against him and Ikki. Ginkai says he can have it his way, but warns to never overestimate himself, as his personality is about as good as his skills, and leaves. Tak feels a little down, but Suzie says that Ginkai left because he was afraid of Tak now that he became too powerful, and they should show his power to Ikki and Metabee too. Tak agrees, saying that he will show them that he was right.
At night, Tak calls Ikki and combines to Robattle with him in the next day. Ikki brings Komandog with him, thinking Tak will want to Robattle with his Medabot, but Tak tells him to keep Komandog and shows that he now has Unitrix, and they Robattle. Metabee keeps avoiding Unitrix and asks Ikki why he does not want to attack, and Ikki says that he wants Metabee to win without shooting to show Tak that it is not the parts you use, but how you use them that decide the victor, and that the Kilobots are not the answer for winning in Robattles. Metabee wonders how they can even win without shooting, but agrees to try Ikki's plan.
The battle drags on for some time, with Tak reloading Unitrix's ammo several times, but despite this, he is unable to land a single hit on the evasive Metabee, while Metabee managed to throw a large rock on Unitrix. Tired of waiting, Suzie decides to help Tak by calling Ambiguous 2 to sneakily take down Metabee, but Komandog noticed what Suzie was planning and tries to stop her, without success, with Ambiguous 2 attacking Komandog. Before they do too much damage, Ginkai and Arc-Dash show up to protect Komandog and challenge Suzie, but Suzie decides to leave.
Back to Ikki and Tak, Metabee finally manages to win by using a plank as an improvised board to slide down a pile of cement to gain momentum and hit Unitrix, the impact being strong enough to defeat Unitrix. Ginkai shows up, impressed that Metabee won against Unitrix without firing a single shot, and tells Tak that it is not how much power you have, but how you use it, that matters. Ginkai also says that Suzie tried to interfere with the match, but Komandog stopped her. Tak hugs Komandog, apologizing for what he did, and Ikki returns Tak's Medawatch.
Later, Tak searches for Suzie and returns the Kilowatch for her, saying that he will no longer need it as he has Komandog, and Suzie laments that her plan failed. Minitora appears alongside Kintora to ask Suzie about his Kilowatch, but instead of returning it, Suzie places his Kilowatch on a cat that was passing nearby and startles the cat, forcing Minitora and Kintora to chase the cat to retrieve it.
Trivia[]
- This episode's English title appears to be a reference to I, Robot.
- Tak's size is off in some scenes. For example, Tak is usually only a bit shorter than Suzie, being on her shoulders, but after Ginkai warned Tak about his decision and left, Tak has half of Suzie's size. Tak is also a bit taller than Komandog, but they have the same size when they reunited near the end of the episode.
- One of the two girls that were removed in the dub also appeared in Fighting Temptation.
- Except for their color, the four kids seen briefly watching the Robattle between Tak's Unitrix and the kid's Nin-Ninja are identical to the group of Medafighters defeated by Banjo in Mystery Medafighter Unmasked?.
In the episode[]
Background[]
English dub changes[]

Hamshin dodging Komandog's attack.

Two girls chatting.

Unitrix beating Spiritus.
- The beginning of the scene where Komandog and Hamshin first appear was cut, removing Suzie from the scene.
- Most of Komandog's attacks and Hamshin dodging with jumps were cut, with the dub only keeping the attacks Komandog managed to hit.
- Komandog's introduction from the episodes Kilobot Rising and It's the Medafighter Way! was repeated in this episode.
- Most of the scene with two girls meeting near the place where Tak and Brownbison's Rogue Medafighter have a Robattle was cut, only keeping the end of the scene.
- The screen transition before Komandog and Brownbison started fighting was cut.
- The part with Ikki and Metabee arguing was shortened, and their dialogues changed. In the dub, Metabee says he always beats Ikki at checkers, while Ikki loathes the Halloween costume Metabee had done. In the original, Metabee says it is tough to have a slob as his Medafighter, and Ikki calls Metabee a low quality Medabot. Their discussion continues in the original, including Ikki saying that Metabee talks while sleeping, and Metabee saying that Ikki has several pictures of Nae hidden on his desk.
- An eyecatch was added after Tak left Nae's shop, and the following scenes in the shop were cut: Metabee took Tak's Medawatch and gave it to Ikki, and they talked about Tak's action, believing he was only upset for losing against a Kilobot. Nae finished fixing Komandog during the conversation. Suzie heard them talking, and believed it was her chance to convince Tak.
- In the dub, Suzie tells Minitora that she will take his Kilowatch to Extreme Tech. In the original, she says she will take it to Kam.
- Unitrix beating Spiritus was cut.
- The dialogue between Ginkai and Tak changed a bit. For example, in the original, Ginkai says that Tak did not really become stronger, he was only relying on his Kilobot's power.
- A silent scene while Ikki and Metabee were talking about their strategy to the Robattle against Unitrix was cut.
- The scene with Metabee wearing a hard hat was shortened a bit, and Metabee gained extra lines in the scene. In the dub, after Ikki suggested Metabee to use the hard hat as a shield to approach Unitrix, Metabee makes excuses to not use it.
- One of Unitrix's HUD views were cut.
- An eyecatch was added after Ambiguous 2 attacked Komandog.
- The scene with a triple take when Metabee uses a plank as an improvised board was cut.
- The triple take when Unitrix is about to be hit Metabee was removed, showing the scene only once.
