Maiko Agata (あがたマイコ) is the wife of Beisuke Agata and mother of Hikaru Agata. Compared to other mothers of protagonists in the video game series, Maiko is quite laid back. Although she does not share Beisuke's passion for it, she is supportive of her son's Medabot hobby. She is more concerned with Hikaru's academic standing and advises him to finish his homework for summer vacation early. Like Beisuke, she is genuinely concerned for Hikaru's mental well-being after the events of the Medabot tournmanet. She is relieved when Hikaru eventually gets his Medal fixed and returns to his old self.
