Content[]
Summary[]
Ikki, Erika and Metabee are amazed by an unknown Medabot that appears from out of nowhere to save a drowning puppy. But strangely, this Medabot appears to act on his own, without a Medafighter![1]
Plot[]
During a heavy rain, Ikki, Metabee, and Erika see a mysterious Medabot (Rokusho) saving a puppy. The heavy rain had damaged many houses in the town, and the Rubberobo Gang offer to work on the repairs, but they are renovating all homes they work on into strange shapes, including the homes from the Screws, to change the city into "Rubberobo Land". Ikki and Metabee Robattle against their Foxuno to avoid that the same happens to their home.
Trivia[]
- Some of the shapes of the houses remodeled by the Rubberobo Gang included a Daruma doll, a "Butterscotch Ripple Sunday" (Spyke's), a Tengu (Samantha's, said to be Pinocchio in English), a gunbai (Sloan's, said to be an ukulele in English), a Buddha, a moai, a domed building, and three skewered balls (possibly dango). Their catalog also included a tulip, a sunflower, and a finger, with Chidori planning to let them do the former on the Tenryou residence. The English version also mentioned an ice cream cone (which was only shown in the imagined buildings) and a clown head.
- The Japanese title card has a stag beetle (Kuwagata) in the background instead of the usual rhinoceros beetle (Kabuto). This also happened in the episode I Dream of Hushi.
- Episode errors:
- In one of the scenes Gillgirl is holding a plate, her Hibakama is white instead of red.
- The second episode showed that a Medal must be on the Medawatch to transport a Medabot's body, but Foxuno is already active when he is transported. This is only possible if the Rubberobo Gang has access to the technology introduced in episode 46.
- In the scene Ikki and Erika are going to school, it is possible to notice the looping point from the background.
In the episode[]
- The home of the Screws was remodelled by the Rubberobo Gang.
- Metabee won Foxuno's left arm.
Background[]
English dub changes[]

The plan for Roborobo Town.

Menacing Rubberobo Gang.
- There are several minor changes to the lines in the dub. For example, when Metabee asked for the swimming parts to save the dog, in the original Ikki didn't hear him well due to the strong wind, while in the dub Ikki said there was not enough time to transport the part. The music is also different in some parts.
- The scene of the Rubberobo Gang talking with the housewife was shortened a bit.
- A fadeout was added before showing Rokusho on a construction site.
- The text "Soda" was added to the green bottle held by Squidguts. In the original its label has no text in the first house and illegible text in Ikki's house.
- The scene with the Rubberobo Gang workers smoking was cut.
- The sign "Welcome to Roborobo Town Robo" (ヨウコソロボロボタウンロボ) was translated as "Rubberobo Land". The duration from this scene was shortened as it does not move, likely to prevent moving the translated text.
- The scene were Shrimplips is alone was reduced. In the original the narrator explains how he was feeling about the silly plan. In the dub he exclaims that he wants candy.
- The scene with Samantha imagining that the Rubberobo Gang are behind the modified houses was shortened to cut the part their shake their backs.
- Two Medal transitions were replaced by a fadeout, the first after showing Sloan's house, and the second when Ikki and Metabee are returning home.
- The "No trespassing" (私有地につき立入り禁止!) sign was translated in only two of its three appearances.
- The Rubberobo Gang looking menacingly to Chidori was cut.
