Content[]
Summary[]
On a stormy night, one of the strongest Kilobots, Redrun, escaped due to an accident during transportation. Due to a mistake during development, Redrun no longer stops attacking anyone she considers to be a worthy opponent until they are destroyed, and she goes on a rampage throughout the town!
Plot[]
On a stormy night, the truck transporting a prototype Kilobot model, Redrun, was damaged in an accident, and Redrun ran away, starting to cause trouble around town. Later, a scientist informs Kam about Redrun, their strongest Kilobot so far, but that was out of control and needed to be sealed, and escaped during transportation. Kam decides to take care of the situation personally.
In the streets, Ikki and Metabee mistake Redrun for a Medabot and try to stop her from causing further damage to the vehicles, but Metabee is no match for Redrun. Nae appears to take them away from the Kilobot, explaining that she heard about this model and that Metabee would be no match against her unless he uses Demolition Mode. With Nae's guidance, Ikki and Metabee start practicing this Medachange form.
Meanwhile, Kam and Ginkai challenge Redrun, but Unitrix and Exor are also no match against her in power and speed, with Redrun running faster than their Medachange forms. Kam decides it was enough and leaves, but Ginkai continues attacking and manages to make Redrun fall. This makes Redrun consider Unitrix a worthy opponent, and she starts chasing him. Ginkai calls Kam for help, but Kam says that there was no turning back now and that Unitrix would be destroyed.

Redrun
Ginkai tries to evade Redrun, but Unitrix is caught and beaten until he goes offline. When Redrun was about to attack the disabled Unitrix again, Ginkai tricks Redrun and locks the Kilobot inside a vending machine in the bowling alley, gaining time to escape before she breaks free. Without options, Ginkai asks Ikki to help him. Ikki is not sure as Ginkai always causes trouble for him, but as Ginkai swallowed his pride to ask for help in order to protect Unitrix, showing that he cares for his Kilobot, Ikki decided to go after Redrun, despite Metabee still taking four seconds to change into Demolition Mode.
In the bowling alley, Ikki finds the Mystery Medafighter going after Redrun, as he heard that the Screws were chasing the Redrun to defeat her and become famous for it. Despite being three against one, the Screws did not last even 10 seconds against Redrun. Metabee and Roks also have trouble against Redrun, and Metabee is not fast enough to change into Demolition Mode before being hit, but Roks holds Redrun so Metabee can change and use his strongest attack, Meda Blast. Roks is defeated by Metabee's attack, but Redrun is still standing with no visible damage.
Metabee continues fighting, and Redrun considers him a worthy opponent, revealing to also have Medachange, but when Redrun was preparing to change, she stopped moving. Kam appears to retrieve Redrun and informs that he knew this would happen, as Redrun was set to stop after 24 hours due to still being tested. Kam did not reveal it because that was a good field test for Redrun's capabilities, with Kam being satisfied with the results. After Kam and Ginkai leave, the others dread the day Redrun is completed and under Kam's control.
Trivia[]
- This is the first appearance of the Demolition Mode from Metabee, Roks, and Unitrix.
- This is the first episode with an eyecatch in the Japanese version, which appears in the same position as the second eyecatch in the dub.
- When Ginkai calls Kam, Kam's computer has a picture of Redrun with what appears to be a male Tinpet. In the games, Redrun's parts are female, being exclusive to female Tinpets. In the anime, Medabots and Kilobots were shown using parts from the opposite gender in other episodes before, but not a full set on the opposite Tinpet.
- The Asapi in the vending machine Ginkai locked Redrun appears to be based on Asahi Soft Drinks.
In the episode[]
Background[]
English dub changes[]

The marshaller.

"Too weak an enemy."

"He is enemy!!"

A rat.
- The terms Crafty Mode and Meda Sprayer were changed to Demolition Mode and Meda Blast.
- The view of the marshaller's face in the beginning was cut.
- In the original, one of the transporters inside the truck mentioned that the Kilobot inside the truck was not a toy, but a devil, due to its terrifying appearance and destructiveness. In the dub, the transporter instead says that it looks like a secret new product that was asked to be delivered as fast as possible.
- As Redrun is a devil type Kilobot and is called a red devil several times during the episode, some, but not all, mentions of the word devil were either omitted or replaced by Redrun's name.
- As the transporters are not shown after the truck accident, their condition is unknown in the original. In the dub, the transporters are heard saying that they got stuck in the trees after the accident, implying that they quickly removed their safety belts and jumped from the truck during the fall, and they also see Redrun escaping, mentioning that they will be in trouble for what happened.
- The footage of four scientists running and Redrun breaking through a wall was cut.
- In the dub, the scientist is nervous and stutters a bit while explaining the situation to Kam, he mentions that he created the freeze cannon used to stop Redrun, and he asks Kam to not tell what happened to his father, with Kam saying that his father is away for the week. In the original, the scientist talks normally, there is no dialogue in the part the device used to stop Redrun appears (with no mention to it and to who created it), and Kam's father was not mentioned. The last addition implies that Kam's father lived with him and they at least see each other, clashing with Final Goodbyes, where Eddie says that Kam's father, Shin, is a busy man that lives in America and did not see his son in years. The dub also omitted the scientist's explanation that Redrun stop listening orders due to a bug caused by its computer being exposed to too much electromagnetic waves.
- In the dub, the driver that had his vehicle split in half by Redrun's laser beam says "now I'll have to make two deliveries".
- The texts "too weak as enemy." and "he is enemy!!" with a black font from Redrun's HUD were replaced by "not worthy opponent" and "worthy opponent" with a white font. The texts are also bigger in the dub, improving their visibility. The text appears inside a black rectangle while checking the Screws, suggesting that the background transparency was forgotten in this scene.
- An eyecatch was added after Nae took Ikki and Metabee away from Redrun.
- Brass asking if Metabee was alright was cut.
- Nae seeing the kids go after Redrun after Ginkai asked for help was cut.
- An eyecatch was added after Ikki and the Mystery Medafighter talked with the Screws.
- Erika and Brass being surprised by a rat was cut.
- The episode also has other small scene cuts.
